Pelham Historic District
Developed on the land of the former estate of George Carpenter and adjacent to the railway line, the Pelham neighborhood emerged in the late 1800s and early 1900s as a carefully planned residential community. WMAN’s Historic Preservation Initiative is working toward a nomination of the neighborhood as a Thematic Historic District and this page serves as a hub of information related to the project.
