Street Safety/Traffic Calming Group

WMAN has teamed up with the founders of the Northwest Traffic Calming Committee, individuals involved with Feet First Philly, members of the Southwest Mt. Airy Neighborhood Planning Cooperative, and many concerned community members to convene a working group devoted to safety on our roads for drivers and pedestrians.  If you’d like to join our efforts please email: josephine.g.winter@gmail.com

Cleaner-Greener Mt. Airy

In partnership with Keeping Mt. Airy Green, WMAN is convening a working group devoted to promoting sustainability and ecological responsibility and activism in our community.  We are exploring ways we can advance West Mt. Airy towards becoming an eco-village, and constructing our vision for a cleaner-greener Mt. Airy.  Towards this end, we aim to apply for significant grant funding over the next several months, and welcome volunteers to help us shape our future environmental campaign.  To volunteer, please email josephine.g.winter@gmail.com
