Every summer, Philadelphia offers residents seven chances to safely dispose of hazardous household waste rather than dumping it into the regular trash collection.
Of the seven collection dates and locations, the one closest to Mt Airy will be at Domino Lane and Umbria in Manayunk on Saturday June 18, from 9am to 3pm.
Residents must register in advance for household hazardous waste collection events. Drop-offs will be scheduled in 15-minute increments between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. After signing up, you’ll receive a confirmation email. You should keep a copy or screenshot of this message.
