Dear Mt. Airy Community and Friends
Mt. Airy Day is a signature community festival, hosted by East and West Mt. Airy Neighbors, which always takes place on the first Saturday in May. This year the committee was excitedly planning an awesome celebration of the 50th Annual Mt. Airy Day!
Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that COVID-19 is causing around the world, and due to the mandated limitations on mass gatherings for the next several months, the decision has been made to cancel Mt. Airy Day for this year.
While we are extremely disappointed, the health and well-being of our community is our first priority.
We look forward to seeing everyone next year, Save the Date May 1, 2021.

Cliveden House Tours
Tours of the first floor of the Cliveden Main House will be offered for $2 per person, children 6 and under are free. Visitors will also be able to visit both the 1767 Kitchen Dependency and the 1959 kitchen, as well as their core exhibition Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happiness? in the Carriage House.
MAD KidZone
Children can enjoy games and more in Mt. Airy Day KidZone.
Mt. Airy Day Goes Green
Valet bike parking will be available in front of the Caring Heart Rehab and Nursing Center on Germantown Ave. and there will be recycling receptacles throughout the event site.

The 49th annual Mt. Airy Day celebration hosted by East and West Mt. Airy Neighbors is on Saturday, May 4th , 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. (inclement weather date Sunday, May 5th). The festival takes place on the grounds of the historic mansions Cliveden of the National Trust, and Upsala located across the street from each other on the 6400 block of Germantown Avenue.
The fair features something for everyone! Children’s activities include a bounce house, popcorn, face painting, stilt walkers (1-2:00 pm) and a children’s stage with local entertainment all day. Be amazed by the Give and Take Juggles as they entertain the crowd with their Little Circus. Come see performances from Free to Be Dance Theater and Mt. Airy Performing Arts Center. The Kids Zone is not to be missed!
On the main stage starting at 11:00 am join Zumba specialist Sonia Maldonado. She will wake you up and get your body ready for the day. Next, enjoy a four piece cover band, Living Proof, performing Classic Rock, R & B, Top 40’s, Alternative and Country. Peace and the City Grease, a Funk/Rock band forged from the heart of Philadelphia, follows at 2:00. Finally, Hvddle, a band with flavors from Reggae, Hip-Hop and Soul begins at 3:30.
Back by popular demand Mt. Airy Day will host a beer garden with Attic Brewing Co., the soon to be brewery in Wayne Junction. Adults can come, relax and listen to the entertainment while enjoying a nice cold beverage.
Awbury Arboretum will bring their goats, The Philadelphia Area Corvette Club will display old and classic Corvettes, Weavers Way Co-op will have their annual plant sale and as always, the day will highlight over 100 vendors of crafts, treasures and personal services. You won’t want to miss the fun this year!
