Wanted: Neighbors to Plan Fun Fundraiser(s)

WMAN has been spending a lot of money in its efforts to save the Chestnut Hill West.  At last week’s Cresheim Village Neighbors meeting, we brainstormed some fun ways to help WMAN defray its expenses.

Some suggestions were:

–Save the Train Night Out in which participating restaurants in the Northwest donate a percentage of their proceeds to WMAN

–game day at High Point on a weekend

–our wonderful musicians perform at one of the local venues (e.g., Mermaid Inn, Malelani)
–happy hour/other event at one of the area restaurants

What is needed?  Individuals to plan a fun fundraising activity (one of the above or something totally different).
