IN-PERSON MEETING AT NEW CHILDCARE CENTER

Mandy’s Learning Academy, located on the unit block of Mt. Airy (next to Action Karate), is about to open its doors. We will be given a tour of the impressive two-story facility and will meet with director Rob Harris and some of the staff.
According to Rob, MLA is “a nurturing childcare center dedicated to fostering child development through purposeful learning, engagement, and play. We strive to support both children and caregivers by providing the tools and developmental knowledge needed for lifelong growth… offering a safe, inclusive environment built on evidence-based practices that celebrate and enhance each child’s unique strengths.”
Rob is acutely aware of the issues (e.g., parking) that plagued the previous establishment and will talk with us about how he and his staff are to address them. “We want to be good neighbors and are committed to working together on any concerns the community may have.”
